Editorial Standards
Every page on ansdale.com is written to help small service businesses make better decisions about answering services, AI receptionists, and phone management. This page explains how we research, write, and maintain the content on this site.
How we research
Our guides, comparisons, and pricing pages are built on publicly available information: official pricing pages, published feature lists, press releases, regulatory filings, and industry reports. When we cite a statistic, we verify it against its original source. When multiple sources conflict, we note the range rather than picking the number that suits our argument.
We do not fabricate data, invent testimonials, or present assumptions as facts. If a claim cannot be verified from a credible source, we either drop it or mark it clearly as an estimate with the reasoning shown.
How we write comparisons
Our comparison pages (Ansdale vs Jobber, Ansdale vs Smith.ai, and similar) are written from our perspective; we are transparent about that. We describe what each product does based on publicly available information and explain where we believe Ansdale fits. We do not misrepresent competitors’ features, hide their strengths, or exaggerate their weaknesses.
When a competitor is stronger in a specific area, we say so. When Ansdale is not the right fit for a particular use case, we say that too. A reader who finishes a comparison page and chooses the competitor made a good decision with good information; that outcome is fine.
Pricing accuracy
We make every effort to keep pricing information current. Prices on our comparison and guide pages reflect publicly listed rates at the time of writing or last update. Software pricing changes frequently; we check and update our pages regularly, but we recommend confirming current pricing directly with any provider before making a purchasing decision.
Each page that includes pricing shows an “Updated” date so you know when the information was last verified.
Corrections
If you find an error on any page: a wrong price, an outdated feature claim, a broken link, or a factual mistake, contact us and we will correct it promptly. We do not silently edit published content to hide errors. Significant corrections are noted on the page.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or review any product other than our own.
- We do not publish fake reviews, fabricated case studies, or invented testimonials.
- We do not use real company logos, brand names, or trademarks in ways that imply endorsement without authorization.
- We do not make product claims we cannot verify. Our homepage states explicitly: anything not on that list, we do not claim.
