Jobber is one of the most popular field service apps for small home service businesses, and its pricing page has more moving parts than most: four plans, four team sizes, three ways to pay, and add-ons on top. The headline “from $29 a month” is real, but it’s the cheapest plan, for one user, paid a year in advance. Most growing shops end up paying a good deal more.
Here’s what each Jobber plan costs, taken from getjobber.com on 22 October 2026, what a few typical businesses would actually pay, and what to watch for. We make Ansdale, an AI receptionist that works alongside software like Jobber rather than replacing it, so we’ve no reason to talk Jobber up or down.
How much does Jobber cost?
Jobber shows three prices for each plan: monthly with no commitment, monthly with a one-year commitment, and paid annually. These are the regular prices per month:
| Plan and users | Monthly, no commitment | Monthly, 1-year commitment | Paid annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core, 1 user | $49 | $39 | $29 |
| Connect, 1 user | $139 | $119 | $99 |
| Connect, 5 users | $199 | $169 | $149 |
| Grow, 1 user | $199 | $169 | $149 |
| Grow, 5 users | $299 | $259 | $229 |
| Plus, 5 users | $499 | $439 | $399 |
Connect and Grow also come in 10- and 15-user versions (Connect: $229 and $299 a month paid annually; Grow: $299 and $399), and Plus comes in 10 and 15 users ($449 and $529 paid annually). Teams of 16 or more go through sales. Jobber says you can add extra users for $29 a month each.
When we checked, Jobber was also running a new-customer promotion of up to 40% off for anyone subscribing before 30 October 2026, so you may see lower first-year prices. Promotions come and go; the regular prices above are what you’ll pay after.
What would a typical business pay?
- A one-person handyman who mainly needs quotes, scheduling and invoicing: Core, $29 a month paid annually, or $49 month to month.
- A three-person plumbing crew that wants online booking and reminders: Connect. The 5-user version is $149 a month paid annually, slightly cheaper than the 1-user plan ($99) plus two extra users at $29 each ($157). Run that comparison for your own team size, because it doesn’t always fall that way.
- A growing HVAC shop with eight people that wants marketing tools and job costing: Grow with 10 users, $299 a month paid annually, or $399 month to month.
The gap between paying monthly and paying annually is big: the same plan can cost two-thirds as much paid upfront. If you’re sure you’ll stay a year, annual billing saves real money. If you’re still deciding whether Jobber suits you, the free trial and a month-to-month start are the safer route.
What’s included on every plan?
Jobber’s comparison table shows online booking on all four plans, including Core. Beyond that, features build up plan by plan, so check the table for anything you specifically need, such as automated reminders, quote follow-ups or job costing, before you pick the cheapest option.
What does Jobber’s AI receptionist cost?
Jobber sells Receptionist, its AI phone answering, as a $29 a month add-on on Core, Connect and Grow, and includes it on Plus. How much usage you get isn’t consistent across Jobber’s own help center: its Receptionist article (updated 9 July 2026) says the add-on includes 30 conversations, then $0.79 per conversation, with unlimited use on Plus, while its add-ons article (updated 13 August 2026) says 100 conversations a month. Ask Jobber which applies to you. Receptionist also needs a dedicated Jobber phone number, even if you forward your existing number to it.
We looked at the options in Jobber AI receptionist alternatives and in our Ansdale vs Jobber comparison.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Jobber offers a 14-day free trial with access to Grow plan features and no credit card required. Bear in mind you’re trialling the bigger plan, so note which features you actually use before you choose a cheaper one.
Is Jobber worth the money?
For most small home service businesses that are still running on paper, texts and a spreadsheet, yes: quoting, scheduling, invoicing and getting paid in one place saves hours a week. The questions are which plan you really need and whether you’ll pay monthly or annually. If you’re comparing options, our Jobber alternatives guide covers Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan and others.
One thing Jobber doesn’t do on its own plans is answer your phone while you’re on a job. That’s where an answering service or AI receptionist comes in. Ansdale, which is ours, answers your existing number 24/7, books jobs into its calendar with two-way Google Calendar sync and routes urgent calls to you, from $49 a month. It doesn’t connect natively to Jobber today, so bookings live in Ansdale’s calendar rather than Jobber’s schedule.
